Meet Our Team

Skandra is originally from Campeche, Mexico, and earned her Law degree with honors from Universidad Anáhuac Mayab. Her interest in immigration law stems from both her empathy for others and her own personal journey. At the age of 14, she immigrated to the United States and lived there for three years, navigating the challenges of adapting to a new culture. That experience, along with her immigrant family background, gave her a deep understanding of how difficult the immigration process can be and continues to inspire her to help others. At RKL, Skandra values the supportive team environment and the opportunity to help families reunite—something she finds especially meaningful, as family is the most important thing to her. Outside of work, Skandra enjoys painting, writing, traveling, reading, going to the gym, playing padel, and spending time with her loved ones. She also treasures the beauty of nature, often visiting the beach and watching the sunsets. Skandra’s name means Alejandra in Arabic and was given to her after her mother. Her family immigrated from Lebanon to Mexico, and she grew up surrounded by Lebanese traditions. She loves Arabic coffee, Lebanese food, and takes great pride in her roots.
