Meet Our Team

Raquel Dueñas was born and raised in East Los Angeles before moving to New Mexico at the age of eight, a transition that gave her an early understanding of what it means to build a new life somewhere unfamiliar. She studied at Central New Mexico Community College, earning her Associate’s Degree in Network Administration, and has her sights set on continuing her education, with interests ranging from elementary education to law.

What draws Raquel to immigration law is deeply personal. Having navigated her own family’s challenges and uncertainties, she brings a rare and genuine empathy to every client interaction. For her, this work is about more than legal processes. It’s about helping families feel a little more secure and playing a part in making their dreams real. She is equally energized by the people she works alongside, finding that a team of passionate, mission-driven colleagues makes all the difference. Outside the office, Raquel’s world revolves around her son and the joy of a good karaoke night. As one of nine siblings and the proud aunt of seventeen nieces and nephews, she’s no stranger to a full house or a little beautiful chaos.
